County Council requests Government to postpone the elections planned for May 2025

LRALC will do its best to ensure that parish voices are heard as part of this process. When Leicestershire County Council last looked at creating unitary councils for the area, LRALC was invited to be part of the scrutiny process, as well as organising meeting between the county and parish representatives. Our positive working relationship with the county, as well as the districts and boroughs, means we are in a position to keep member councils updated, but also to represent your interests as the plans develop.
