Federation of East Midlands Associations of Local Councils (FEMALC)
FEMALC is a constituted grouping of County Associations comprising Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, and Nottinghamshire,
Together, these Associations represent some 1,054 town, and parish councils throughout the region with an electorate of some 1.3 million.
FEMALC was created in 1999 to represent the parish council network at a regional level.
FEMALC currently has two representatives on East Midlands Councils (EM Councils).
FEMALC is currently administered by Jake Atkinson of the Leicestershire and Rutland Association.
The LRALC representative on FEMALC is Cllr John Springthorpe.
